Court Remands Man in Kirikiri Prison for Illegal Refuse Disposal on Alapere Bridge

Mr. Olawale Ogunbadejo has been remanded in Kirikiri Correctional Centre for allegedly disposing of refuse on the Alapere Bridge in Lagos. The suspect was apprehended by environmental enforcement officers while dumping waste in violation of Lagos State’s environmental laws. Following his arrest, he was arraigned before a magistrate’s court, which ordered his remand pending further legal proceedings.

This incident underscores the Lagos State government’s commitment to enforcing environmental regulations and maintaining cleanliness in public spaces.
