Edo State: Commissioner Eulogises Late Director Of Fire Service

Edo State Commissioner for Transport, Hon. Orobosa Omo-Ojo has described the late Director of Fire Service, Mr. Destiny Osunde as a dedicated, honest and trustworthy staff whose vacuum would be difficult to fill.

Omo-Ojo stated this when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Osunde, noting that the news of his death came to him as a rude shock.

He condoled the family and assured them that the Ministry would do the needful to ensure that the late director is accorded a befitting burial.

Responding on behalf of the family, eldest daughter of the deceased, Miss. Peace Osunde, expressed gratitude to the commissioner for the condolence visit, saying the death of her father has created a big vacuum in the family which would be difficult to fill.

Mr. Destiny Osunde, until his death in the early hours of Sunday was the Director of the State Fire Service, one of the Agencies under the Ministry of Transport.

He is survived by a wife and children.

The commissioner was accompanied by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Barr. Augustine Akhuamhenkhun and other principal officials of the Ministry.
