Major Hamza Almustapha Discharged and Acquitted

Former Chief Security officer to the  late Tyrant ( General Sani Abacha), Major Hamza Almustapha  was on Tuesday discharged and Acquitted  along with others charged  with conspiracy to murder and attempted murder of chief Alex Ibru a former minister of internal affairs.

Also  discharged  are Col. Bala Yakubu, CSP  Mohammed Lawal and Mr James Danbaba.

While delivering his judgement, Justice Mufutau  said the evidence of the witnesses against the accused were not Credible , worthless and inconsistent. Therefore, no prima-facie case  has been established against the accused.

He thereby declared the Accused Discharged and acquitted
